Trump Makes Perfect Visit Ahead Of The Holidays – Shows Exactly What’s Important To Him

Yesterday, President Donald Trump was with congressional Republicans celebrating their successful effort to completely overhaul the tax code.

After slashing taxes for most Americans, the group had much to celebrate – but Trump did not stay in the area.

Less than a day later, on Thursday, Trump quietly and mysteriously boarded Marine One.

Many people were left in the dark about his destination, but their questions were answered when Trump landed at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center near Washington D.C.

The reason? To visit wounded U.S. soldiers ahead of the holiday season.

Check it out, via the Hill:

President Trump is visiting wounded U.S. soldiers on Thursday at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center just outside Washington, D.C.

“We’ll be over there for a while, but we’re just going to wish them a merry Christmas,” Trump told reporters as he left the White House.

Here’s more:

He called the soldiers “some of the bravest people anywhere in the world.”

White House chief of staff John Kelly was among the aides who accompanied Trump to the hospital for the private visit Thursday.

Independent Journal Review adds:

Just after his inauguration, Trump disappeared in just that fashion, only to reappear a short time later at Andrews Air Force Base — to greet the body of a fallen Navy SEAL.

He did it again Thursday afternoon, just 24 hours after a public press conference cheering the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act — and he only answered one question before he boarded Marine One.

Once at the hospital, Trump reportedly presented a Purple Heart military award:
